Bod Brief: Walk with a Doc comes to Washburn
This Saturday, Sept. 18, is your chance to have a walk with a local doctor.
The free group walk and talk is organized by Walk with a Doc, an international walking program started by a cardiologist in 2005. Each of the walks is led by a doctor, who will share their medical wisdom while getting some good cardio.
People who would like to attend must be vaccinated and wear a mask. Participants will meet on the steps at the east side of Lee Arena at 9 a.m. and the walk will last one hour.
Those in attendance can also get their blood pressure checked on-site.
Your donation will support the student journalists of Washburn University. Your contribution will allow us to purchase equipment and cover our annual website hosting costs.
