GALLERY: Ichabods take the lead against the Braves

Brady Christiansen, sophomore forward, shoots and scores a goal. He was almost blocked by the Braves’ defense but he still managed to score.

During the first half of the game, Ungashick gets ready to shoot a basket. He scored and helped the Ichabods achieve an early lead against the Braves.

Bachelor, Michael Keegan, junior guard, Ungashick and Jarmell Johnson, sophomore guard, huddle together during a timeout. They strategized before they headed back out onto the court.

Zaid Dajani, guard, catches the ball after the opposing team misses a goal from the basket. The Ichabods won the game 97-76.

Jack Bachelor, freshman guard, shoots the ball from the three-point line. He made the shot and kept the Ichabods ahead of the Braves.

Sam Ungashick, sophomore guard, prepares to run down the court holding the ball in his possession. He was able to break through the defense of the Braves and pass the ball to a teammate.

Brayden Shorter, freshman guard, shoots the ball into the basket. The Braves’ defense allowed for Shorter to be wide open and make the shot.

The Ichabods huddle together before the game starts. They discussed their plan of attack against the Braves.

With the ball in the Ichabod’s possession, Ungashick dribbles the ball down the court. With a clear path, he got the ball down towards the Braves’ side of the court.

During the first quarter of the game against Ottawa University, Jack Bachelor blocks the Braves from making a pass. The Ichabods won the game 97-76.
