Neira rounds third base after advancing on Jaycee Ginter’s, senior outfielder and pitcher, sacrifice fly in the bottom of the fifth. Ginter’s at-bat allowed Boles to score on the same play, putting the Ichabods in the lead 2-1.

Walker flips the ball to LaBarge after diving to grab the hit. Their effort was successful and the Northwest runner was out at first.

Moore frames the ball after receiving a pitch from Sadie Walker, sophomore pitcher. The pitch was a ball, giving Northwest’s Lela Bryant a full count.

Jaden LaBarge, junior infielder, throws the ball to first after fielding a sacrifice bunt from a Northwest batter. LaBarge made the throw to give the Ichabods their first out in the fourth inning.

Moore sprints to second after Ellington Hogle, junior outfielder, hits a ground ball to shortstop. Moore was tagged out on a fielder’s choice, while Hogle made it to first safely.

Madi Moore, freshman catcher, takes a swing at the ball. The hit made it through the infield and Moore secured a single in game one of the series.
