NOTO’s summer nights out happen on the third Friday of the month.

Anyone in the mood for a free concert can head over to north Topeka for  NOTO’s Night Out from 5-8 p.m. Friday, June 18 at Redbud Park, which is located at the corner of N. Kansas Avenue and NE Gordon Street.

The NOTO Arts and Entertainment District will feature music by Livgren Side Hustle live on the Kaw Valley Bank Stage.

According to the Livgren Side Hustle Facebook page, “Jake Livgren and his sister Jessie are an eclectic, acoustic duo that aims to please their audience with their unique harmonies and hilarious banter.”

Everyone is welcome to come to this event with lawn chairs and friends.

The event is being organized by Staci Ogle, the program and communications coordinator for NOTO.

“It’s another fun way for people to find out what NOTO is all about,” said Ogle.

In addition to the musical performances taking place, various shops and businesses nearby will stay open late for late-night shopping.

Other attractions for the night include supervised ax-throwing at Odin’ Lair, an Escape Room attraction at NOTO Escapes, and a painting experience at the NOTO Community Center.

Ogle said that NOTO Night Out happens every third Friday of the month with a similar lineup of events.
