Washburn University awards excellence award
TOPEKA -Washburn University recently awarded the September Student Life Achieving Excellence Award to Jane Carpenter, assistant professor, School of Nursing.
Carpenter was nominated by a student. The student stated that Carpenter “is an industrious instructor whose actions serve as a role model to both students and faculty members alike.”
The Student Life Achieving Excellence Award is an ongoing award presented to a student adviser, faculty or staff member, or community leader who demonstrates excellence in working with individual students, student groups and organizations and who reflects the guiding principles of the student life area.
