Mulvane Merriment set for Oct. 1 – Dec. 5

TOPEKA- Start your holidays at the Mulvane Art Museum during Mulvane Merriment, an exhibit and fundraising event organized by the Museum’s Women’s Board. From Oct. 1 to Dec. 5, art work donated by regional artists will be on display and available for silent auction. Bidding ends at 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5. In addition, a limited edition glass ornament, featuring a painting of the Museum by local artist Mike Savage, will also be available for sale at the Mulvane Store. Friday, Dec. 5, 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. The event will feature displays of holiday treasures, jewelry, clothing and art work by regional artists available for sale on Dec. 5 only. The Women’s Board will also be sponsoring a Mulvane Merriment Boxed Lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 5. Proceeds from Mulvane Merriment support the Museum’s exhibition and education programs. The exhibit and event will be open for the First Friday Art Walk on Dec. 5. Museum hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. No admission is charged.
