Bod Brief: Evergy Plaza Farmer’s Market
Local Produce: Market Monday’s will provide Topeka residents with access to locally grown produce throughout the summer and early fall. Evergy hopes that this will make a positive impact on the community.
The new Evergy events plaza in downtown Topeka will soon be home to Market Monday’s which will take place from April to October starting on Monday, April 5 from 3 to 7 pm.
Similar to a Farmer’s Market, the Market Monday’s will feature a variety of vendors and food trucks at the Evergy Plaza which is located on Kansas Ave. between 6th and 7th streets.
Evergy hopes that its Market Monday’s will help create a healthy community by increasing access to fresh, locally produced foods and other products. Evergy Plaza will help promote a sustainable economy through partnerships connecting local farms to small businesses and directly to consumers.
