Fall Classic social media contest gets ‘Bods into the game

 

 

 Washburn University has launched a social media constest that will give lucky Ichabod foot­ball fans memories they wont for­get.

The contest, that will run until midnight on Novmber 3, is called the #BodsAtArrowhead Ichabod Blitz.

The challenge is for Washburn fans, students, faculty, and alum­ni to share their love for all things Ichabod on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram using the tag #BodsA­tArrowhead.

The first 100 people who partic­ipate in any photo portion of the contest will recieve a #BodsAtAr­rowhead scarf. The contest winners will recieve an all-inclusive ex­pereince at the first Fall Classic vs. Northwest Missouri State Universi­ty on November 15 at Arrowhead Stadium.

Three prize packages are being offered, with the grand prize winner recieving two all-access passes and an escort to enjoy pre-game activ­ities, two guest motorcoach passes from Washburn to Arrowhead Sta­dium, access to the catered Alum­ni Association Tailgate, an auto­graphed football and a $50 Ichabod Shop gift card.

To enter for the Grand Prize Drawing, there are four steps.

Step One: On Twitter, post a photo that represents your Wash­burn spirit using the #BodsAtAr­rowhead tag.

Step Two: On Facebook, post a photo or video of you attending a Washburn Athletic Event and tag the Washburn Ichabods Facebook page and use the #BodsAtArrow­head tag.

Step Three: On Instagram, share a photo or video of you involved in your academic or professional pur­suits. Explain what you do and use the #BodsAtArrowhead tag.

The last step is to send a Face­book message to facebook.com/ wusports with all three of your us­ernames. Winners will be contacted through social media.

“We want to see Ichabod spirit in all forms: at work, at play with the Ichabods and whatever Ichabod spirit is to you,” said Michaela Saunders, web editor in the Office of University Relations. “We want to see the excitement for the #Bod­sAtArrowhead build over the next six weeks leading up to the game. This is a historic oppurtunity for the Washburn football program and we want our student athletes to know we support them.”
