Marathon Training Class

  • Dave Provorse is an associate professor of psychology at Washburn University.

Over the previous 18 years, over 400 Washburn students, faculty and staff have utilized the Marathon Training class to complete a “bucket list” goal of completing a full or half-marathon distance running event.

You can be a part of the 19th edition by signing up for KN192 Marathon Training in the Spring 2015 semester. The class meets Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 7:30 to 9 a.m., and each class meeting includes a “mini-lecture” on some running-related topic, followed by a group running workout.

The class members also gather every Saturday morning throughout the Spring 2015 semester for the weekend “long run.”
