Alpha Delta plans food events for philanthropy
The Alpha Delta fraternity is having a hot dog eating contest and soup feed to raise money for its philanthropy, American Diabetes Association. There is a limit to 10 contestants for the hot dog contest and contestants must pay a $5 entry fee. The contest is 8 p.m. today in the Stouffer Commons of the Memorial Union. The winner will receive a gift card to The Burger Stand.
The men of AD are also holding a Soup feed from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the AD house at 1919 SW MacVicar Ave. for all you can eat soup for $5. Donations will be accepted at both events to go toward the philanthropy.
