Bod Brief: Career Fair brings opportunities to Washburn
Attendees and representatives talk about careers in Lee Arena. The Career Fair has averaged about a hundred companies and grad schools present in recent years.
Your career move might start this month as the semiannual Career Fair is happening Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2022 in Lee Arena.
This is such a worthy event for all students to attend. It is not just for students about to graduate, because there are in-person representatives from each company explicitly here to meet, chat and discuss real, tangible career opportunities. It’s also good practice. Because job interviewing is naturally stressful, gaining experience parlaying with industry professionals is invaluable.
There will also be a professional photographer taking free headshots, courtesy of the Washburn Alumni Association.
