Brown bag series discusses women’s bodies throughout history

Spill the tea: Come visit Professor Rachel Epp Buller Wednesday Sept. 22nd at noon in the Cottonwood Room of Memorial Union. Brown Bag Discussions are making a come back for this fall semester.

Art historian, printmaker and Bethel College professor of Visual Arts and Design, Rachel Epp Buller, will give an illustrated talk Wednesday, Sept. 22 at noon about images and of maternal bodies throughout history that have been marginalized or dismissed. Buller will also discuss how maternal expectations shape environments and will highlight alternative ways of existing in relation to those expectations. This discussion will be taking place in the Cottonwood Room at the Memorial Union and will be a public discussion for anyone to attend; masks are required.
