Holiday Giving Trees available at Washburn University

TOPEKA- Stop by a Holiday Giving Tree and pick your angel. From now until Friday, Dec. 5, six Holiday Giving Trees will be located on the Washburn University campus. Each tree is decorated with angel tags. Pick an angel tag; return it with the gift listed (unwrapped), by noon Friday, Dec. 5.
The trees are located at the Catholic Campus Center, 1633 SW Jewell Ave.; Campus Ministry, 1633 Boswell Ave.; Washburn Student Government Association, lower level, Memorial Union; Washburn Residence Council, lobby, Living Learning Center; multicultural affairs office, room 110, Morgan Hall; and Zeta Tau Alpha, 1845 SW Jewell Ave. Donation tables also will be set up in Memorial Union from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 12, Nov. 19 and Dec. 3.
The gifts will go to Let’s Help, Inc., Doorstep, the Rescue Mission and KVC Behavioral Healthcare.
