Saudi Arabia – the In-country Perspective

Teaching in different countries and cultures can often be a challenge.  So it was in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. My experience speaking on Leadership/Strategic Planning and various administrative issues (including sustainability) was exciting and rewarding. While we have many Saudi students on our campus and we regularly interact with them, being “in country” provided a very different perspective into their culture.  Although my trip was short, more time traveling than actually speaking, I did have the opportunity to encounter things very different in some ways than we encounter in the “West”.  It is my pleasure to share my thoughts at the International House Brown Bag event.
