KTWU Annual Golf Classic raises funds

KTWU will be hosting their 6th Annual Golf Classic at 1 p.m. June 12.

Registration and the driving range open at 11:30 a.m. The event is at the Topeka Country Club, located at 2700 SW Buchanan Street. Funds raised from the event go towards KTWU benefits.

The cost to enter is $100 per player which includes one round of golf, a golf cart, a bag drop, range balls and grilled lunch on the patio. The format for play is four person scramble, with white tees marking men, red tees marking women and yellow tees marking seniors over 60 years of age.

Dress code at the Topeka Country Club is a collared shirt and no denim. Placing in the top 3 can earn you cash prizes. There are also contests for longest drive, closest to the hole on the second shot, longest putt made and there will also be raffle tickets for prizes.

If one is interested in sponsorship of the event, holes can be sponsored for $125 each. Sponsors receive two rounds of golf, a golf cart, signage at a hole, inclusion in tournament on-air announcements on KTWU and all other tournament materials.
