Washburn University is now proud to offer a Teaching English as a Foreign Language Certificate. This certificate is ideal for people who both look to teach abroad for a few years, or want to begin a full-time career teaching and traveling the world.

Through the program, Washburn-Council on International Educational Exchange, students and other professionals within the community will gain the certification of teaching English as a Foreign Language overseas.

The program consist of 130 hours of online study and 20 hours of teaching. New classes start every two weeks.
