Connor Scott, sophomore outfielder, walks up to the plate to face Truman State midway through the game. Scott was only able to capitalize on one of three at-bats against the Bulldogs.

Cal Watkins, senior infielder, hits the ball into foul territory before striking out looking to end the second inning. Washburn took the lead early before being shutout in later innings.

Priest catches the ball during the third inning to help strike out Truman State’s Dakota Joggerst. Priest had some struggles, including unlucky bounces off the glove, allowing runs to be scored by the other team.

Griffin Huiatt, sophomore left-handed pitcher, strides out to throw a pitch. Huiatt struggled midway through the game letting many runs be scored on the Ichabods.
