HOMECOMING: Ichabods show off their dance moves at Yell Like Hell

Audience members hype themselves up before seeing the champion of Yell Like Hell perform. Macyn Felix, a junior in communication, and Azarion Perkins, a junior in sports management, led the crowd to countdown for the final result.

The Top City Step team uses thought-out choreography and effort to deliver a show to the crowd. They managed to excite the crowd with only five people in their performance.

Macyn Felix, a junior communication major, gives his hat to his teammate and adds a backflip into his routine.The backflip added a flair that managed to get the crowd to cheer.

The Blue Diamonds Majorette Team performs in cowgirl outfits. The performers used props during their performance and dazzled the crowd.

The performance shows the interaction between men and women and gets the crowd involved in the performance. They received a lot of cheers from the audience thanks to their synchronized dancing skills, tricks, and formation.

The Ichabods softball team cheers for their partner on the baseball team. They are one of the performers who cheered loudly for their partners.

Elyse Hubbard, a sophomore in forensic investigation, brings a colorful vibe to audiences in her sorority dancing. She had two different performances with the Ichabods Cheer Team and Washburn Alpha Phi.

Maddie Ray, a senior in accounting, shows emotion in her performance. Maddie and her sorority, Delta Gamma, used couple dancing techniques for their routine.

Mia Weiler, a senior elementary education major, is ballroom dancing with Colton Cattoor, a sophomore psychology major with a minor in leadership. They hugged each other after the Kappa Sigma performance.

Alpha Phi Sorority partners with the Kappa Sigma fraternity for their Yell Like Hell performance. They had a girl’s piece and a couple’s piece for their performance.

The Yell Like Hell dance competition features Ichabods from organizations across campus. The competition was held in Lee Arena Oct. 26, 2023, where each of the performers showed energetic spirit through their performances to the crowd.
