Brief: Union kicks off the year with its 8th annual Market Daze

The Memorial Union hosts its 8th annual Market Daze. The Market Daze has been a long tradition bringing local vendors to Washburn’s campus.

The goal is to introduce students to some of the businesses Topeka has to offer and give vendors the chance to display their products.

The fair was held outside the Memorial Union from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. As students entered the fair they received a baggie to carry goodies and free samples from vendors and merchants. Some of the samples included food, coffee, T-shirts and coupons.

The event was well attended this year with many students excited to learn about different businesses in Topeka.
