Delta Gamma dominates ‘Lip Sync Battle’

All of the teams and audiences enjoy themselves together after the battle, while the judges prepare to choose the winner for the battle. The hosts announced the winners and everyone began to click pictures after the event.

Jayce Wessel, a senior in social work, and Tevin Asamoah, a junior in biology, host the “Lip Sync Battle.” Wessel and Asamoah invited one member from each team to participate in games in between battles.

Deon Smith, a freshman in music, and Alecxander Clemmons, a freshman in computer science, from team Alpha Delta began the battle with their first performance. They performed the Kinect Star Wars song, “I’m Han Solo.”

Girls from the Alpha Phi Sorority team form a kickline. They were all very energetic throughout the battle.

Team Delta Gamma Sorority wins first place in the “Lip Sync Battle” with their performance. They hugged each other and were all ecstatic after their win.

Team Kappa Sigma from fraternities enjoy performing their act to the fullest. They all wore t-shirts that said “Marvel Boys.”

The audience cheers and applauds the teams’ performances. The performances had everyone pumped up.

Ana Estrada, a senior in political science, with team Sigma Lambda Sorority holds the third position in the battle. Their performance was based on themes from “Despicable Me,” which the audience found very entertaining.

Team Zeta Tau Alpha earns second place from their performance.They were overjoyed with their accomplishment and celebrated together.
