GALLERY: BSU talks about relationships at annual event

  • Hannah Mae Atakpa gives her opinion on a question. Participants of the Relationship Talk submitted questions to be answered.

  • Philip Canady answers the question, “why don’t Black men open up?” There were two questions asked during the Relationship Talk that only one sex could answer.

  • Amari McGlory laughs at Aniyah Williams’ answer. The question asked was “What’s your opinion on dating men shorter than you?”

  • Tuti Kimberly Smith answers the question, “if your parents don’t like your significant other, do you continue to date them?” The Relationship Talk is an annual event.

  • Aniyah Williams gives her opinion on what she looks for in a partner/relationship. Williams later gave her opinion on passwords, locations and social media in the realm of relationships.

  • Amari McGlory passes the talking stick (in this case, a hand sanitizer keychain). The Relationship Talk took place in the Underground Union from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

  • Washburn students answer relationship questions. The Relationship Talk took place Nov. 7th, 2022.

  • Amari McGlory asks the question, “is flirting while in a relationship cheating?” McGlory was the facilitator and speaker during the Relationship Talk.

  • Amari McGlory kicks off the Relationship Talk. The Relationship Talk was held by Washburn Black Student Union.
