On the afternoon of Oct. 4 in the Carole Chapel, Izzy Wasserstein launched her book.

Liz Derrington, a lecturer in English, welcomed everyone to the book launch of “All the Hometowns You Can’t Stay Away From,” which was written by Wasserstein.

During the reading, Wasserstein read a short story titled “Everything the Sea Takes it Returns.” After reading excerpts and answering questions, Wasserstein signed copies of her book for all who wanted them. Audience members were treated to cake at the conclusion of the event.
