Huff ‘n Puff Hot Air Balloon Rally started in Topeka on Sept. 10. The Great Plains Balloon Club organized this event each year. This year was the 46th annual year of the event and it did not disappoint.

Hundreds of people gathered each day at the Mount Hope Balloon Field in Topeka. Vendors were present to provide those in attendance with food, snow cones and souvenirs.

The festival kicked off with a balloon flight launch on Friday, Sept. 10 at 6 p.m. Each evening the balloons would light up for the audience, allowing for beautiful photographs. Balloons also took off early on Saturday and Sunday mornings while the wind was minimal.

Huff ‘n Puff ended on Saturday, Sept. 12 and is planning on returning again next year.
