Bod Brief: WUBash has its own DJ
Washburn University is holding an event in the coming week to show support for students looking for their kinds of music, and they are calling it WUBash
Various different types of music will play throughout the event for the various participants, with burgers and hotdogs available for anyone who wants them.
“WUBash is a product of hearing students expressing feelings that they weren’t hearing music on campus at events representative of genres they like; WUBash is an attempt to give them that experience,” said Melisa Posey, Program Coordinator of Diversity & Inclusion.
Music for the WUBash will be supplied by DJ Armaud Battle.
WUBash will start at 5 p.m. on Aug. 26 in the Underground and Patio of the Memorial Union.
Your donation will support the student journalists of Washburn University. Your contribution will allow us to purchase equipment and cover our annual website hosting costs.
