Bod Brief: Twisted Fiber crafts at Big Gage
Down at the Big Gage Shelter House, countless fiber artists are coming together for something called the Twisted Fiber Festival.
The Twisted Fiber Festival is a craft festival for anyone who enjoys fiber arts and crafts and is entirely free to enter.
Local guilds and clubs will be there to help connect artists with each other and vendors to share their handmade crafts.
Classes and workshops will be offered throughout the day to teach people new fiber skills, as well as a “Sheep-to-Shawl” demonstration to show the process of wool becoming garments.
The festival will take place at 10 a.m. on Sept. 19 at the Big Gage Shelter.
Your donation will support the student journalists of Washburn University. Your contribution will allow us to purchase equipment and cover our annual website hosting costs.
