Bod Brief: Tails on the Trail runs for funds
The Helping Hands Humane Society is announcing its 13th annual Tails on the Trail event, scheduled to take place on Nov. 7, and start at 10 a.m. on their Facebook page.
Normally, runners would run the 5k alongside their dogs, passing several other runners in the process, but this time, due to COVID, the run will take place virtually, with runners submitting their race times before Nov. 14.
The event is meant to help raise awareness, and to help raise funds for Helping Hands so that they can do a better job keeping their animals happy and healthy until they find a good home.
Helping Hands is also offering T-Shirts to commemorate the event, but they only have a limited number available. Anyone who wishes to receive a T-Shirt should register before Nov. 1, because registrations between Nov. 1 and Nov. 14 aren’t guaranteed to receive a T-Shirt.
