The Morris Art Gallery in NOTO is featuring Doug Frye’s paintings throughout the month of June.
Raw Surfaces: The Art of Doug Frye will be open to the public June 4-27 each day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Frye creates his artwork using the underlying surface color, allowing it to be seen in order to develop the mood and tone of the painting.
Frye is a physician and he uses his paintings to find healing for his patients and himself.
