Brief: Explore the “Awaken the Senses” event
The Topeka Zoo & Conservation Center is back open to the public from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., following COVID guidelines, of course. Everyone over the age of 6 must wear a mask in the entirety of the park unless eating or drinking.
It is encouraged to pre-purchase tickets online, which cost most students $7.75, to prevent face-to-face contact; along with that, everyone must use the outdoor ticket booth.
Guests are encouraged to use common courtesy when viewing the animals in prime spots to allow everyone an opportunity to see the animals.
The Kay McFarland Japanese Garden will launch its two-month event, “Awaken the Senses” from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. April 14.
