Bod Brief: Topeka Zoo hosts animal ‘Eggstravaganza’
The Topeka Zoo will be holding a special Easter event next month that has been dubbed ‘Eggstravaganza’. The event will be on Saturday, April 3 from 9:00 to 3:00 pm.
Instead of children hunting for eggs throughout the zoo, it’ll be the animals who are looking for what the Easter bunny left behind.
Zoo staff will leave paper mache eggs, which have been made by zoo docents, in the enclosures for the animals to find and open up to discover what goodies lie inside.
Admission to this event is free as long as you purchase a zoo pass for the day.
Guests are encouraged to come out and watch the animals find the eggs and pop them open throughout the day. The zoo has included the specific times on their Facebook page for when the eggs will be distributed in each animal enclosure.
