With only two games left on the regular season schedule, the Kansas Koyotes will have to win out to have a winning record for the season.

In a hard fought game, the Koyotes cut the Mid-Missouri Outlaw (7-1) lead to just three points late in the game, but an ensuing onside kick failed and the Outlaws held on for a 26-23 victory in Sedalia, Mo.

The loss drops the Koyotes to 3-4 on the season, with the home finale at 7:05 p.m. Saturday against the Junction City Force. Mid-Missouri moves to 6-1 on the season.

The Koyotes will finish the regular season on the June 26 against the Iowa Blackhawks (6-1).
