ICHABODS SPEAK OUT AGAIN Book Release and Open-Mic Poetry Reading.

ICHABODS SPEAK OUT AGAIN: poetry against domestic violence in collaboration with the YWCA Center for Safety and Empowerment and Washburn’s Counseling Services Washburn University and the Topeka Community are invited to Washburn’s campus in the Union Underground to celebrate the release of a book of poetry from its poetic community which speaks out against domestic violence. Books are provided without cost thanks to the generous funding of donations from the 2023 All for WU fundraiser. Word of caution with trigger warnings: Due to the nature of the poems, parental discussions are requested before children attend.
