After a long anticipated wait, the Netflix original series “You” finally released its third season that premiered on Oct. 15, 2021.

The murderous, psychological drama continues as it follows Joe Goldberg’s journey as he begins the next chapter in his life: husband and father.

As Joe’s thoughts narrate the show, we are given an insight on how he truly feels towards his new wife, Love Quinn. Joe makes it very clear how unhappy he is in his marriage. But how could he be when he’s married to a psycho-killer with an obsession that’s twice as dangerous as his own?

When the couple begins their new life together in what seems to be a perfect white picket fenced home located in the suburbs of Madre Linda, their lives begin to take a turn as Love lets her jealousy get the best of her. She murders the next door neighbor for trying to have a fling with her husband, Joe.

The show continues as it follows a string of unsolved murders committed by the newlywed couple as their bond remains so strong that they’d quite literally kill for each other.

As soon as I found out “You” was adding a third season to the series, my excitement skyrocketed. Being a fan of the first two seasons, I could not wait to see what Netflix had in store for season three.

My obsession for “You” is almost as drastic as Love Quinn’s obsession for Joe. What sparked my interest for this series was how different it is from any other psychological drama I have seen before.

It is interesting to watch a show that has its audience rooting for the murderers. This show will have you sitting at the edge of your seat, biting your nails as it takes a completely different spin on how movies and TV shows usually play out. “You” lets you watch from the perspective of what most shows would call the antagonist. It almost makes you question your moral compass.

With all of the twists, turns and unexpected events that take place during the show, I will be excited to see what “You” will surprise us with in its upcoming season.
