W-2 forms are available to view; printed copies available tomorrow or Friday

After a lot of frustration, we have finally finished processing 2014 W-2 forms. You can view your W-2 online in MyWashburn by following the instructions at http://www.washburn.edu/faculty-staff/finance-office/Files/view_online_W2.pdf.
Due to the confusion over the weekend about what an “electronic W-2” was, and the number of people who initially elected to receive an electronic W-2 and subsequently revoked their election, we decided that the best course of action was to print all W-2 forms on paper. Accordingly, all printed copies of W-2 forms will be available in the Business Office (Morgan Hall, room 150) either late tomorrow (Thur, Jan 22) or Friday morning (Jan 23). They will be available for pick-up through Wed, Jan 28.
As we noted in an earlier message, if you intend to file your federal income tax return on paper, you must file the paper copy with your return. A printed copy of the W-2 visible in MyWashburn is not acceptable to the IRS.

Been trying to get my W2’s cause I didn’t receive them In the mail by Jan.31,2024vwhich the law requires. So I’m writing to figure out what you are going to do about it. So far everytime I call the office, I get the run around. So give me a call ASAP at 786- 588-0425. I would like to get my taxes done.
