Good afternoon!

Five projects have been selected for the Undergraduate Research Day at the Capitol 2015. Please help me congratulate the following students (with the project title):

Chelsea Cates – No One Else Can Take Your Place: Factors predicting LGBT suicide risk

Suzie Fields and Travis Bussen – Rehabilitation, Retribution, and Recidivism at the Kansas Juvenile Correctional Complex

Hayley Harris – Turnt up on Religion: The relationship between various aspects of religion and substance use

Mary Ralston, Rebecca Maasen, Madison Wiegers, and Jack Van Dam – “The Dreamers”: Daring to dream

Casey Woodward – No One Listened

 

A thank you to the mentors of these students, and the committee that helped select the projects!

 

These students will be presented with awards at the Capitol on February 11, 2015, and will then be a part of a poster presentation in the late morning with representatives from all KBOR universities and Washburn. Please come on by and support our students!

Please keep your students in mind for next year’s UGRD 2016 as they continue to do amazing work!
