To make ginger shots, you will need fresh ginger, around two or three cloves, four oranges, 1 tablespoon of turmeric and black pepper each as well as water. You can also add lemons, but they are optional.
First, peel and chop the oranges and the ginger into small pieces. Add the chopped orange and ginger to a blender or food processor. Add a little water to help blend the mixture smoothly. Also, add 1 tablespoon of turmeric and black pepper. Blend until you get a smooth paste. After the mixture is the desired thickness, strain the solution to filter out any fibrous parts and keep only the juice. Pour the juice into a small shot glass. If you are using lemons, you will want to squeeze some lemon juice into the mixture here. You can store this in the refrigerator for one week.
