Kerry Wynn has been appointed as the director of the Washburn University Honors Program. Wynn, associate professor of history and a strong proponent of the honors program, served as the associate director during the past academic year.

She previously served as chair of the faculty diversity initiative group and participated in Leadership Washburn, a comprehensive professional development training program. Wynn has significant experience in developing initiatives, writing grant proposals and planning projects.
