It’s almost time for the holidays! While there are several dishes that scream “holiday feast,” everyone loves to end their festive meal with a delicious dessert. Whether students are heading back home, hanging out with family, meeting up with friends or spending the holidays with their cat, Oreo lasagna is a delicious and easy dessert to make.
Ingredients:
- 1 package of Oreos
- 6 tablespoons of melted butter
- 1 (8 ounce) package of cream cheese
- ¼ cup of sugar
- 2 tablespoons of milk
- 1 (12 ounce) container of thawed cool whip
- 2 (3.9 ounce) packages of instant chocolate pudding mix
- 3 ¼ cups of milk
- 1 ½ cups of mini chocolate chips
Instructions:
Start by smashing up the Oreos and then mixing them with the melted butter. Use the mixture to create a crust in the bottom of a 9×13-inch pan. Place the dish in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.
While the dish is being refrigerated, beat the cream cheese until fluffy. Add the ¼ cup of sugar and two tablespoons of milk. After mixing them together, add 1 ¼ cup of cool whip.
After 10 minutes, take the dish out of the fridge and spread the mixture on top of the crust. Place in the fridge for another 10 minutes.
Now it’s time to start making the pudding. Combine the pudding mix with 3 ¼ cups of milk. Spread it on top of the previous layers and refrigerate again for 10 minutes.
Add the remaining cool whip and sprinkle the chocolate chips on top. Refrigerate the dessert for four hours.
Take it out and enjoy a delicious, chocolatey dessert! (Don’t feed it to cats or any other pets.)
