Starting at 10 a.m. and going on until 4 p.m., the 38th annual Apple Festival will be happening  Sept. 30 and Oct. 1 at the Old Prairie Town at Ward-Meade Historic Site and Botanical Garden. This year, the festival will also be combined with Wheatstock. Various bands will be performing on both days. Tickets are $5 for one day, and $10 for a two-day pass- children under five get in free.
