David Kibet, senior runner, leads the pack at the Missouri Southern cross country meet. Kibet kept this pace until the near end of the season where he claimed the MIAA Cross Country Championship individual.

Gabriel Chinya, senior runner, fights to stay in front of the pack. Chinya ran the Missouri Southern cross country race 8k in only 26 minutes and 53 seconds; by the near end of the season he cut that time down by nearly 2 full minutes.

Tommy Roehl, sophomore athlete, strides to keep up with the competition. He finished fourth on the team at the MIAA Championships where he helped the team place second overall.

Daniel Alamilla, freshman runner, is able to cut down his time by more than one and a half minutes over the course of the season. Just behind Alamilla, Nick Petrella, junior athlete, attempted to outpace a large pack of runners to finish in the 80th position.

Paul Kamp, sophomore runner, competes at the Missouri Southern Stampede. He finished in the 82nd position.

Shane Mullen, sophomore athlete, leaves the pack in the dust. Mullen competed to earn his finishing place in the top 130.

Jaemon Smith, freshman runner, finds someone to pace himself with. Coach David Granato encouraged runners to find a person to run with during the race to make it less uncomfortable.

Washburn freshman runner, Rafael Montemayor, places just inside the 100th place mark at the Missouri Southern cross country meet. Montemayor ran a time of 28:28 and cut his time down to 28:07 in only two weeks.

Lexie Fontaine, sophomore member of the Women’s cross country team, cheers for Ryan Rochford, sophomore runner, during the race. Rochford finished 12th for the team at the Missouri Southern cross country meet.
