Washburn track and field indoor highlight video
The Washburn Track and Field team finished their indoor season. In these video’s you can see their best performances and the place they finished on the national list. The last meet for most of the Ichabods was the MIAA Indoor Track and Field Championships on Feb. 27-28, which took place in the new Indoor Athletic Facility of Washburn. Three Ichabods, pole vaulters Virgi Scardanzan and Rachael Mayberry and hurdler Romain Henry, placed for the NCAA DII Indoor National Championships on March 12 and 13 at the Birmingham Crossplex in Birmingham, AL.
First team All-American: Scardanzan jumped to a second place finish at the championships with a mark of 4.05m (13-03.50). Henry took a sixth-place finish with a time of 8.02 in the 60m hurdles.
Second team All-American: Mayberry finished 12th in the pole vault after clearing 3.80m.
