Washburn Winter Walk

  • Not your average tree: Standing just outside the LLC, these trees provide some additional illumination for guests to the campus. They were painstakingly wound around the trees over the course of many days.

  • Winter walk: lights cover the foliage along the pathways around Washburn’s campus. They will remain up until at least New Year’s Day.

  • Blue and white: This large holiday wreath decorates the entrance to the dining hall. It has helped add an element of Christmas cheer to the building.

  • All aglow: The trees of campus look much different at night now. It took the work crews many hours to wrap these trees with lights.

  • Light the way: White Concert Hall is ringed by many strings of bright white lights. The lights shown here surround the fountain area that closed down earlier in the fall.

  • Glowing in the dark: these cutout figures have adorned campus for years but now they have some holiday flair added to them. The lights injected a little more life into these friendly faces.
