Baseball

The Bods were able to host four home games at Falley Field over the weekend and came away with a 2-1 series victory against Southwest Baptist University (7-1, 17-1, 3-4) and a win against Missouri Southern State University (10-3). They will play against Fort Hays State University at 5 p.m. Friday, April 12 in Hays, Kansas.

Softball

After a weekend of traveling, the Bods came away with three wins and one loss in Missouri. They split their double header with the University of Central Missouri Friday (4-5, 8-2) and swept Southwest Baptist University Saturday (8-0, 8-1).

They are scheduled to play two double headers against University of Nebraska at Kearney and Fort Hays State University beginning at 2 p.m. Friday, April 12 at home.

Golf 

The golf team clenched a first place victory out of 18 teams at the NSIC Preview  last weekend in Kansas City, Missouri. They will compete in the Bearcat Invitational Monday, April 15 in Bolivar, Missouri.

Track and field

After competing in the West Texas A&M Classic & Multis last weekend in Canyon, Texas, the track team will return to competition for the KT Woodman Classic Friday, April 12 in Wichita, Kansas.

In the West Texas A&M Classic, the men’s team set two school records, 10 PR’s and one NCAA provisional mark while the women’s team set three school records, had one event champion and had eight top-five finishes including one NCAA provisional mark.

Tennis

The men’s tennis team found a victory on the road against Rockhurst University (4-3) last Sunday. 

The women’s team won all three of their matches last weekend at home (4-3, 4-3, 6-1).

Both teams will play against Lindenwood University at 3 p.m. Friday, April 12 in St. Charles, Missouri, Southwest Baptist University at 11 a.m. Saturday in Bolivar, Missouri, and the men will also play Ouachita Baptist University at 11 a.m. Sunday in Springfield, Missouri.
