The Washburn University spring choir concert is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 28 at White Concert Hall. Catherine Hunt, director of music education, and Kevin Kellim, Washburn choral director, will conduct the concert, which will showcase the talents of three choirs, including the Washburn Singers, the Washburn Women’s Chorus and the Washburn Choir.

Kellim said three students will perform vocal solos in addition to the chorus selections. The soloists, tenor Rick Huffman, soprano Anna Reb and baritone Elliot Lauxman, are all music majors at Washburn.

The spring choir concert is free and open to the public.
