Washburn University’s freshman pitcher Brett Ash made MIAA player of the week after earning his first win of the season after scattering eight hits in seven innings in an 11-4 win over Truman.

Twenty games into the season, Ash has made himself a reliable player.

With Brett Ash as one of the new additions to the Washburn Ichabod baseball team it is fair to say that the season is looking really good so far.
