With up-and-coming Christian rock group Cloverton being the featured band, IN SESSION rock concert hits northeast Kansas on Saturday, Aug. 6 in Topeka. 

Located at Sunrise Optimist North, 720 NW 50^th, the concert will feature talents of Cloverton, Susanna Wesley’s the REACH,  Josh Melcher and his group Artfully Folded Paper, and Northland Christian Church’s PLUGGED-IN band.

Gates will open at 3:30p.m. for the concert, which will run from 4 – 10 p.m.

“I’m excited about IN SESSION because it is an event to GET excited about,” said event coordinator Susan Fowler-Hentzler.   “It’s got music for teens and young adults with a concert atmosphere… and it is all right close to home.  As with any church, club or organization,  youth are our future, and this is their event. “

To purchase tickets, visit pleasanthillumc.org or call 785-246-1737.  Tickets are on sale for $15 through July 10.  After that date, the price will be $20.  Lifeway Biblical Solutions for Life at 2121 SW Fairlawn is another location where tickets can be purchased.

All proceeds will go to the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church building fund.  The church’s new facilities will be located at 46^th and Button road.
