Washburn Tech Toy Build Work Day / 8:30 AM – 4 PM / Building K, 5724 SW Huntoon St.

Washburn Tech holds its annual tradition of the volunteer toy build event, to benefit organization Toys for Tots, with projects including items such as beatbox drums, yo-yos, step-stools, and hobby horses.

Theatre Student Showcase / 3:00 PM / Garvey 130

Performance and Costume class students will be displaying their accomplishments over the semester. Light refreshments provided.

SRWC Puppy and Kitten Event / 11 AM – 1 PM / Washburn SRWC

Located in the Student Recreation & Wellness Center’s Multipurpose Room, puppies and kitties looking for hugs and petting from students will be visiting WU. These furry friends are more than willing to calm anxious students.

Holiday Vespers Concert / 4 PM / White Concert Hall

Once again, the Annual Holiday Vespers Concert is taking place, in Washburn’s White Concert Hall. Showcasing numerous choral and instrumental music groups performing holiday-themed tunes. Admission is open to the public, with donations being accepted at the door.
