NOTO Arts Place located at 905 N Kansas Ave. This newly renovated 1895 building has had many faces over the years from a grocery store with a photography studio upstairs to a furniture store and even an adult entertainment store. The new owners, Don and Edie Snethen, took over the building in 2013. With all the new renovations, they have turned this building into a place that brings culture into the community. Now they display art from local artists, host Story Slams and starting later this year, they will have students from Washburn University theatre department come and perform plays for the community.
