This Friday, April 1st: Last Day to Withdraw From Courses and Switch to Pass/Fail
March 28, 2016
Friday, April 1st is the last day for students to withdraw from courses. Most students can do this online through the MyWashburn portal. If there is a hold on your account, you will need to come to the Student One Stop (Morgan Hall Welcome Center) to complete the withdrawal or send an e-mail to [email protected] from your MyWashburn e-mail account regarding withdrawing from the course. Please include your name, WIN, and the CRN of the class you wish to drop in the email.
Also, April 1st is the last day for students to change a full semester graded course to A/Pass/Fail or an A/Pass/Fail course to graded. The option to change grade status is not available on the web. Students who want to change a course grade option must complete a Schedule Change Form in the Student One Stop (Morgan Hall Welcome Center) or e-mail [email protected] from their MyWashburn e-mail account.
The qualifications to change a grade status to A/Pass/Fail are as follows:
* Only 1 A/Pass/Fail course per semester
* Student must have completed at least 24 credit hours
* Grade point average must be at least 2.0
* Class must not be in your major (including minor and correlate courses)
The Student One Stop closes at 5:00 p.m. on Fridays. However, emails received by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, April 1st will be processed. If the deadline to withdraw is missed, students must contact their instructor to begin the late withdrawal process. Please contact us at 785-670-2162 or [email protected] if you have questions.
