Important Things to Consider:
- All students must apply through Washburn University’s Student Hiring system.
- All student staff members must be able to devote a minimum of five hours per week to Student Media.
- All students must complete Student Media’s Tier 1 Training Program each fall semester.
- Student Media is not an ordinary campus job. Student Media is a student-run media organization that seeks to keep the campus community informed while also giving Washburn University students a voice. This job will help you gain incredible skills, but it’s also challenging and requires dedication, responsibility, a willingness to continue learning. We want to invest in students who believe in the mission of the First Amendment and are committed to telling ALL of Washburn’s stories, which includes the good, the bad and ugly.
