‘Transgender Issues in the Workplace’ topic of upcoming discussion

TOPEKA- “Transgender Issues in the Workplace” will be the topic of the Diversity Matters Seminar Series at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14, in the Kansas Room, Memorial Union, Washburn University. The public is welcome.

The discussion speakers will be: LoRenda Bradley, human resources, Westar; Robbie Barry, human resources, Social and Rehabilitation Services (SRS); Alley Stoughton, associate professor, computer information science, Kansas State University; Stefanie Mott, Burelles-Luce Inc.; and Pedro Irigonegary, civil rights attorney.

As workplaces become more diverse, this seminar will provide a unique opportunity to think through the consequences of workplace diversity from multiple perspectives.
